About the Role:
Sitecore is seeking a Developer to join our Identity team within the Product Development department. You will contribute to building secure, scalable, and high-quality software, working alongside experienced engineers to deliver reliable solutions that enhance performance and efficiency.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain code for features and bug fixes, ensuring adherence to Sitecore standards.
- Implement API security measures, addressing common vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, CSRF, and XSS.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and maintain high-quality software.
- Support CI/CD processes, assisting in deployment and automation improvements.
- Collaborate with the engineering team, including senior developers and QA specialists, to deliver functional solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations while ensuring compliance with coding principles.
- Work within Agile/Scrum methodologies, contributing to iterative development cycles.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Proficiency in C#.NET and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with databases, including relational or NoSQL solutions.
- Experience with messaging systems aka Confluent Kafka.
- Hands-on knowledge of Git, including version control fundamentals.
- Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing, using frameworks like NUnit or XUnit.
- Solid understanding of programming principles, such as SOLID, clean code, and refactoring.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with GitHub Actions development and GitHub Workflows.
- Comfort using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode, Resharper, GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
